HP 2000-2a20nr

The HP 2000-2a20nr 15.6-inch inexpensive laptop has the same looks as the 2000-2a10nr, but two machines are completely different when it comes to the main components empowering them.

The former sports Intel’s processor instead of AMD’s. The used CPU in the 2000-2a20nr is the Intel Pentium B970, the fastest one in the Pentium “Sandy Bridge” family and the same one used in the Asus X401A series. The B970 is designed to get everyday routine computing tasks done, but its integrated graphics doesn’t provide any satisfactory gaming experience. The CPU is paired with 4GB of RAM, while for data storage there’s a 500GB hard drive. Additional data can be stored on CDs and DVDs with a help of the built-in DVD burner, written on a memory card via the multi-in-one card reader, or transferred over a network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet LAN. One good feature of this otherwise basic notebook are three USB ports with 3.0 speed, besides another one 2.0 connector, and there are also HDMI output and webcam.

The HP 2000-2a20nr is priced at approximately $430, so it’s about $30 pricier than the AMD-based 2a10nr variant.
