OCZ Technology has announced the Neutrino Do-It-Yourself (DIY), a barebone netbook computer with a 10.1-inch display and Intel’s Atom N270 1.6GHz processor.
“Unlike previous OCZ DIY solutions, the 2.86-pound Neutrino comes equipped with the CPU, but enables users to maximize netbook-computing efficiency by supporting up to 2GB of memory and hard drive or SSD capacities up to 250GB,” the company says.
Along with the Atom and 1024×600 LED backlight display, the Neutrino OCZDIY10N1-US includes a 4-cell battery, 1.3MP web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11 b/g wireless connection, an Ethernet LAN port, two USB ports, and a VGA output.
It supports Windows XP and gOS/Ubuntu Linux operating systems.
Tom’s Hardware reports the OCZ barebone netbook is shipping now with a base price of $269.
