Samsung today announced the ATIV Book 9 2014 Edition premium-class 15.6-inch Windows laptop at the CES Show in Las Vegas.
Its features and appearance are top notch. The ATIV Book 9 2014 sports a full HD touchscreen display, ultra-slim aluminum chassis in black color, the latest Intel “Haswell” Core i5 or i7 ultra-low voltage processor options, and dual solid state drives for up to 1TB of SSD-based internal storage. Another highlight is SPlayer+, an exclusive audio player that works in conjunction with Wolfson DAC chip to deliver lossless sound quality.
Rounding off the specs, there are 8GB of RAM memory, Intel HD 4400-series integrated graphics, three USB ports, HDMI, mini VGA, Ethernet LAN (via adapter), SD card reader, and audio combo jack.
The Samsung ATIV Book 9 2014 Edition is expected to hit the market in April. There’s no word on pricing, but we assume it won’t be less than $1,500, judging from its specs and pricing of the already available 2013 13.3″ version.
