Acer Aspire E15 E5-571P-59QA Signature Edition Laptop
The 399-dollar Acer Aspire E15 E5-571P-59QA Signature Edition Laptop at Microsoft Store isn’t as attractive Black Friday deal as the Dell Inspiron i15547-5033sLV for the same price. But nevertheless, the E5-571P-59QA is still a good laptop offer and definitely worth buying.
Both the Acer and Dell have the powerful Intel Core i5-4210U dual-core processor and touch-enabled 15.6-inch 1366×768 displays. However, the Acer has smaller system memory and hard drive sizes. They are 4GB and 500GB large, respectively, whereas the Dell has double the capacities – 8GB and 1-Terabyte. On the positive side, the Acer has a built-in DVD burner.
Overall, the internal components of the Acer Aspire E15 E5-571P-59QA are good for those who mostly do usual home and office tasks, involving web browsing, text processing in Word, Excel calculations, or movie playback. Thanks to the i5-4210U chip, you can also use the laptop for more complex computing. For instance, video and photography editing. Gaming is supported only on the entry level. Many of the latest games will run on this laptop, but not on medium or high settings and resolutions.
This old-school-style laptop from the budget-class E15 series has a plastic chassis which isn’t exceptionally thin. It is 1.2″ high and the whole system weighs in at 5.6 pounds. As expected, the keyboard has no backlight. The trackpad is on the large side, but some users might not appreciate its position offset to the left of center.

The chassis also houses stereo speakers, a 1280 x 720 web camera, three USB ports, both HDMI and VGA video output connectors, and a media card reader. For Internet connectivity, there are Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n wireless and Gigabit Ethernet LAN interfaces. The notebook is Bluetooth-enabled.
The battery life lasts up to seven hours, according to manufacturer’s official estimation. The battery is user removable. However, the bottom panel isn’t easily removable, so access to the hard drive and RAM memory for upgrades will require removing many screws and the whole panel.
As for the Signature Edition part, it simply means Microsoft has removed trialware and other bloatware programs from the laptop, so users can have a cleaner experience without excess program clutter. In addition to that, you get a free antivirus program pre-installed, meaning less worries about security.

Why in processor it is 1.7GHz and 2.7GHz both?? Can we change it?

1.7 GHz is the base clock speed. It can be increased to max. 2.7 GHz when a task requires it. But the processor can’t run at 2.7 GHz all the time, because of thermal limitations.

You can also search for E5-571P on Curcial.com for compatible SODIMM. They also say it’s 204-pin.
