Dell G7 15 7588 / G7588 15.6″ Gaming Laptop

The Dell G7 15 7588 / G7588 is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop. It starts at around $850. Just like the G3 and G5 series, the G7 7588 features the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB or GTX 1060 (Max Q) 6GB video cards, the 8th Generation Intel Core i5-8300H quad-core or i7-8750H six core processor, and a Full HD wide viewing angle screen. In addition to that, the G7 is available with an extremely fast six-core Intel Core i9-8950HK processor. All of these choices are high-performance parts, suitable for hard-core gaming, content creation, and other intensive tasks. The Dell G7 15 7588 / G7588 features two RAM slots and comes with up to 16GB of RAM, as well as solid state (up to 512GB), hard drive (up to 1TB), or combined SSD / HDD storage. Intel Optane memory option for storage speed improvement is available on the Dell G3 and G5 series laptops, but it is missing when configuring the G7 series on Dell’s website (at least for now). But all of them feature the same 56 WHr battery capacity. It’s a good capacity for light tasks, but not so good for 3D gaming. The 7588 / G7588 has optional keyboard backlight and a Thunderbolt 3.0 port as a standard option.
