HP Envy 13-ab016nr 13.3-Inch Notebook (Intel Core i5-7200U, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD)
The HP Envy 13-ab016nr is a thin-and-light 13.3-inch laptop PC with premium design and good internal components. The 3.3-pound Envy 13-ab016nr doesn’t have a touchscreen, but the rest of the specs sheet is excellent if you take into account its price of around $700. Inside the aluminum-topped chassis with a very thin 0.6″ profile, the laptop incorporates the latest 7th Generation Intel Core i5-7200U mid-range processor, 8GB of system memory, a fast 256GB solid state drive, and a capacious battery for a claimed runtime of “up to 14 hours” on a charge. The display has Full HD resolution and IPS-enabled wide viewing angles.
The centerpiece of the HP Envy 13-ab016nr is the i5-7200U dual-core CPU which is a no-brainer solution for the average home and office users. You can see what doing everyday tasks look like on the i5-7200U in this review. The main processor features the Intel HD 620 integrated graphics, which can be used for casual games and many of the most popular game titles, as shown in our HD 620 review. 8GB RAM size is big enough for heavy multitasking. The included 256GB SSD is decently-sized too, but its main feature is NVMe technology which enables very fast operation of this storage device. As expected, this ultra-thin laptop doesn’t have a built-in optical drive.
The notebook has stereo Bang & Olufsen speaker system, a web camera, 802.11AC wireless, Bluetooth, two full-size USB 3.0 ports and a compact USB-C port, HDMI video output, a combo microphone / headphones port, and a media card reader in microSD format.
The pre-installed Windows OS version on the HP Envy 13-ab016nr is Windows 10 Home.

Close to a perfect one, the laptop is sleek, lightning fast and a delight to use. It feels premium, looks premium and acts premium. I recommend this laptop to anyone who is in search of a portable ultrabook and you are on a budget.

The HP ENVY 13-ab016nr is not an expensive device, but it does provide the performance of a device! The machine room is very sturdy and there are no omissions when running the software. Especially PCIe-based SSDs are great. In addition, a screen with full HD resolution and a first-class viewing angle would be ideal for editing images. The laptop will continue to use the default battery (~10 hours).
