Your answer: (we provide the recovery process pre-loaded on a separate area of the hard drive) is completely inadequate.
The Operating System is only covered to the extent that if a “warrantied” part of the computer fails, for example, the hard drive (or SSD), and that hard drive is replaced under warranty, HP will reload the original version of the Operating System that was installed when the computer was purchased…………..& that warrantied period of time is 90 days from the date i ordered unit & not the date i received the unit………..this is one of many reasons a Windows 11 25-character key code is included with the purchase of a NEW WINDOWS 11 LAPTOP………HP advertised a Windows 11 Laptop. If you advertise a new Windows 11 PC, you should also get a Windows 11 license to activate the Windows 11 operating system after the expiration of HP’s hardware warranty. Generally, one can find the NEW Windows 11 product key either on the device packaging or on the COA (Certificate of Authenticity) attached to your device.
In Addtition: You never address my other concern: “no Ethernet port”; you did include the statement no CD; so “why-in-the-world” would HP omit “no Ethernet port” in its description of the product…….One may say HP was deceptive in its description of the unit. I would say: it was the “sin of omission” in the product description!
A full refund is an HP obligation. THEREFORE, I request a “full refund”!! Thank You, Larry Furniss.
