Lenovo ThinkPad T470p 14″ High-Performance Business Laptop

The 14-inch Lenovo ThinkPad T470p is a “performance” member of the ThinkPad T-series business laptop lineup. The T470p is more powerful than the classic T470 and slim T470s, thanks to its high-end 7th Gen Intel Core HQ series processors and optional Nvidia GeForce 940MX dedicated graphics. There are also up to 32GB of RAM memory, and solid state drive and hard drive choices. The laptop provides two display resolution choices – Full HD 1920×1080 and WQHD (2560 x 1440), IPS wide viewing angle technology, and optional touch input. The laptop’s base is constructed of magnesium alloy, while the screen lid is made of plastics. The spill-resistant keyboard has backlight and ergonomically shaped keys and the whole machine meets military ruggedness standards. The T470p supports all kinds of networking connectivity, including traditional Wi-Fi and Ethernet LAN and optional 4G LTE mobile broadband. Since this is a corporate-oriented machine, it has advanced security features like optional fingerprint and SmartCard readers, and comes with optional Pro edition of Windows 10. The Lenovo ThinkPad T470p has a battery life of up to 12.5 hours with the bigger 72 WHr battery instead of the basic 23.2 WHr unit.
