The Lenovo ThinkPad T470s is a lightweight member of the 2017 ThinkPad T-series business laptop lineup. This 14-inch T470s has a starting weight of only 2.9 pounds and a slim 0.8″ profile. The notebook features IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) or WQHD (2560 X 1440) resolution and optional touch input. The machine sports military-certified rugged black or silver chassis with carbon fiber reinforced plastics display lid and magnesium base, a spill-resistant backlit keyboard, and a battery life of up to 12.5 hours, according to the PC maker. Lenovo’s ThinkPad T470s also packs the Intel Core U-series i5 and i7 processors, up to 24GB of RAM, and solid state drive storage options with capacities of up to 1-Terabyte. As nice perks, the ThinkPad T470s has optionally built-in fingerprint and SmartCard readers for better security, Thunderbolt 3.0 / USB-C port, and optional 4G LTE mobile broadband connectivity.
