The Toshiba Satellite C855-S5118 is one of the rare laptops with the Intel Celeron 847 ultra-low voltage processor. This CPU is made for use in small and thin netbook-like laptops, but this time it is incorporated into a full-size notebook form factor with a 15.6-inch display.
Toshiba’s C855-S5118 and its CPU deliver performance noticeably lower than the entry full-voltage Celeron B820, but it is still faster than AMD’s E-series low-voltage parts.
The Celeron 847 is rather focused to deliver a lower power consumption and a cooler operation than computing power, but manufacturer’s estimated battery life of up to 3 hours and 30 minutes isn’t something to be proud of.
The price of the Satellite C855-S5118 is fairly low. It’s currently about $320, but keep in mind that at about the same price point there are much faster laptops. One of the examples is the Asus X501A-BSPDN22 with an Intel Pentium for $300. An additional drawback of the C855-S5118 is absence of HDMI.

Aw, poor thing.. Your dad bought a laptop for you and now you might need to carry around a charger. Are you serious?! YOUR DAD BOUGHT YOU A LAPTOP! Sorry, but you sound extremely ungrateful.
