Nvidia has unveiled details of the upcoming GeForce 9500M GS and GeForce 9300M G mainstream discrete video cards for notebooks.
According to the published specifications, the 9500M GS GPU is identical to the current 8600M GT with 32 stream processors and a 128-bit memory interface. On the other side, the 9300M G has the same specs as the 64-bit GeForce 8400M GS with 16 stream processors.
The Nvidia GeForce 9500M GS and 9300M G, as same as the 8M series video cards, are compatible with the DirectX 10.0 games, and incorporate the Nvidia PureVideo HD engine for hardware decoding of high definition movie content. These GPUs also include Nvidia’s PowerMizer technology that intelligently balances notebooks’ battery life and performance.

Currently, there is no information on availability of the notebooks with the 9M series graphics cards. However, the chips are going to be incorporated into the Asus X55Sv, M51Sn, and U3Sg laptop PCs.
