We reported last week that Samsung had launched an Intel Ivy Bridge-based 17″ version of the Series 7 Chronos laptops, but now we have its images and some new details. Engadget spotted the desktop replacement at the 2012 CES last week and revealed that it will include a 300-nit full HD display, unspecified ATI Radeon 2G graphics, and JBL-branded speakers.
Except a larger size, the 17″ Series 7 NP700 doesn’t differ much from it smaller siblings with sliver cases, chiclet keyboards, and thin LCD bezels.
The NP700G7C-S01US model we wrote about has a quad-core i7 processor, 2TB of storage, and a $1,915.99 price tag. On the other side, Engadget reports the notebook is priced at $1,500, but that’s apparently pricing for a base configuration.
nice.. no glossy.. very sleek and nice style but where is touch pad’s click buttons??
Maybe they just wanted to achieve a more minimalistic look, but they forgot that some people prefer laptops over tablets just because the former have physical keys and buttons. IMO the lack of buttons makes trackpad use much harder.
There are buttons,
For left click, press left bottom side & for right click, press right bottom side.
