Asus Q302LA-BHI3T09 13.3″ Convertible Laptop

The Asus Q302LA-BHI3T09 is a 13.3-inch convertible 2-in-1 PC, which can transform from a laptop to tablet mode and additionally to a multimedia “stand” and “tent”. Unlike the popular Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro convertible with the latest 5th Gen Intel Broadwell processor, Ultra HD display resolution, and solid state drive storage, the Q302LA-BHI3T09 is a lower-mid range one with the 4th Gen Haswell Intel Core i3 chip, 1366×768 non-IPS screen, and a mechanical hard disk. With these specs, it rather competes against the HP Pavilion 13 X360.

Thanks to the Intel i3-4030U dual-core processor and 6GB of RAM, the Q302LA-BHI3T09 offers sufficient power for the daily tasks of the average user, be it Microsoft Office document editing, web surf, multimedia playback, or light gaming. The hard disk size is 500GB, as usual. Hardware is packed in a 3.8-pound and 0.9″ thick chassis, which is fairly portable for a 13.3-inch laptop, but not enough thin and light for comfortable use as a classic tablet. The casing sports a brushed aluminum finish in black.

When you add to the mix a full set of networking and connectivity features, the Asus Q302LA-BHI3T09 is a well equipped notebook with provided touchscreen capability, flexible design, and good performance. Unfortunately, a lack of IPS wide-viewing angle technology is a serious drawback and the notebook lacks keyboard backlight as a usable perk (according to the official specs). It can be however found on the Q302LA-BBI5T14 configuration which additionally delivers a faster Intel i5 processor and larger 8GB RAM.
