The Dell G3 15 3590 or G3590 is an entry-level notebook PC for gamers. It features a 15.6-inch wide-viewing-angle display with Full HD resolution, backlit keyboard, and chassis made of plastics.

Inside, the Dell G3 15 3590 / G3590 packs the mid-range laptop video cards. These are the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 3GB lower-mid-range video card, the middle-of-the-road GeForce GTX 1650 4GB, and the upper-mid-range GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q 6GB. These video cards are fast enough to run all the latest games, but graphics intensive ones may require you to dial down detail settings if you want smooth gameplays. The offered cards are all from the GeForce GTX series, meaning they are missing ray-tracing technology for more realistic effects you can find in the advanced GeForce RTX series.

As for the main laptop processor, the G3 15 3590 / G3590 includes either the quad-core Intel Core i5-9300H or faster six-core i7-9750H, which is a standard processor for gaming and other high-performance laptops. They are both among the fastest laptop processors on the market. With any of these, you can expect great performance, without hiccups in the demanding game titles and heavy computing tasks like video editing.

The offered system memory (RAM) sizes are 8GB and 16GB. 16GB is recommended if you want comfortable gaming, since some of the newer games can utilize more than 8GB. It’s good to see that both 8GB and 16GB options come in dual-channel memory setups, meaning somewhat better computing and gaming performance than single-channel RAM configurations with the same sizes.

For storing data, Dell offers either solid state-only or combined solid state and hard drive storage. If you choose faster solid state drive-only storage, you can have a storage capacity of up to 512GB. The SSD and HDD combinations are either 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD or 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD.

The G3 15 3590 / G3590 has a 3-cell with a capacity of 51 WHr. It is not a very capacious battery, considering the 3590 is a powerful laptop with power-hungry components.

It’s also worth noting that there are two design options – all black, and black interior combined with white exterior.

In addition to the G3, Dell also offers similar but higher-end G5 and G7 series.
