The HP Envy x360 15t 3EC87AV_1 is a higher-end 2-in-1 convertible notebook. This is a configurable model for year 2018. It’s available on the official HP Store. The aluminum-clad Envy x360 15t 3EC87AV_1 has a 15.6-inch touch-screen on a pair of 360-degree hinges. There are two screen resolution choices: sharp Full HD and ultra-sharp 4K. Besides finger touch, the screen can be used with an optional active digitizer pen. An interesting display feature is the notebook’s optional privacy screen. The 2-in-1 PC has a full-size keyboard with numeric pad and optional key backlight.
Inside, the Envy x360 15t 3EC87AV_1 packs the the 8th Generation Intel Core processors – the excellent quad-core Intel Core i5-8250U and i7-8550U. Besides the basic Intel UHD 620 integrated graphics, HP optionally offers the Nvidia GeForce MX150 4GB lower-end dedicated video card for smoother gaming than with the UHD 620. The laptop comes with 8, 12 or 16 Gigabytes of system memory. For data storage, HP has provided numerous options – a 1-Terabyte hard drive combined with 16GB of Intel Optane memory for speed boost, a combination of a 1TB HDD and 256GB of fast solid state drive storage, or purely SSD storage with 512GB or 1TB capacity.
The included battery has a decent capacity of 52.5 WHr. It enables a run time of to 9 hours and 15 minutes on the laptop configuration with the Full HD screen resolution. On 4K models the battery life is shorter because of the higher resolution.
