The HP Envy x360 15t 6WW67AV_1 / 8DX23AV_1 / 8DX24AV_1 (2019) is a higher-end 2-in-1 laptop with a 15.6-inch touchscreen mounted on fully rotating display hinges. As stand out features, the convertible notebook provides optional OLED (AMOLED) display and optional dedicated video card.
The Ultra HD 4K AMOLED screen with incredible sharpness, wide viewing angles, deep blacks, and low power consumption is the top-of-the line and pricey display option. The basic screen choice is a still decently sharp Full HD panel with IPS wide viewing angles. Optionally, the Full HD IPS variant comes with privacy screen protection.
The Envy x360 15t 6WW67AV_1 / 8DX23AV_1 / 8DX24AV_1 is based on the 10th Generation Intel Core processors – the i5-10210U or i7-10510U. They are excellent if you do usual day-to-day computing tasks and occasionally heavier tasks like video editing. But, they have weaker integrated graphics performance than their counterparts in the 10th Gen Intel Core G-series processors like the popular i5-1035G1 and i7-1065G7 you can find in similar laptops. Weaker graphics means weaker gaming performance, but generally all graphics processors integrated into the main processors aren’t good for gaming. For good gaming performance you need a gaming-class dedicated video card. The 6WW67AV_1 / 8DX23AV_1 / 8DX24AV_1 optionally comes with the Nvidia GeForce MX250 2GB dedicated video card. You can rarely find a dedicated video card in a convertible notebook. But, it isn’t a gaming-class card. It’s a nice upgrade over the Intel UHD graphics of the i5-10210U and i7-10510U, but still far below the full-blown GeForce GTX series video cards. Overall, the laptop can be used for light gaming, with better smoothness if you include the GeForce MX250 card.
For storing data, the convertible uses fast solid state drive storage with a capacity of up to 1-Terabyte (1000 GB), so no slow mechanical hard drives in sight. For even greater snappiness when opening programs and copying files, HP has provided Intel Optane add-on. As for the system memory (RAM), the laptop comes with 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB. Even the smallest 8GB option provides a lot of headroom for multi-tasking.
The battery has a decent capacity of 53 WHr, better than around 40 WHr you can find in many budget laptops.
The difference between the 6WW67AV_1, 8DX23AV_1, and 8DX24AV_1 SKUs of the HP Envy x360 15t laptop is only related to their basic configurations. The 6WW67AV_1 has the Core i5 processor, 12GB RAM, and a 256GB solid state drive + Intel Optane as the basic options. The 8DX23AV_1 starts with the Core i7 CPU, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD + Optane. Finally, the 8DX24AV_1 has the Core i7, 16GB RAM, and a 1-Terabyte SSD as the entry options.
