The Lenovo Legion Y540 17 (17IRH) is a gaming-oriented 17.3-inch laptop. As the main component for gaming, the Legion Y540 17 17IRH features an Nvidia GeForce video card – the lower-mid-range GeForce GTX 1650 4GB, mid-range GTX 1660 Ti 6GB, or the upper-mid-tier RTX 2060 6GB. They power the 17.3″ screen with Full HD resolution and IPS wide viewing angles. Optionally, customers can choose a high refresh rate of 144 Hz for smoother gaming and videos.

The main computing platform of the Legion Y540 17 is based on the 9th Gen Intel Core i5-9300H quad-core or Core i7-9750H six-core processor. These are among the fastest ones on the market at the time of this writing. You can pair them with up to 32 Gigabytes of memory and various hard disk drive and solid state drive data storage devices, including HDD / SSD combinations.

The laptop comes with a 52.5 WHr or slightly larger 57 WHr battery. Lenovo says the battery life on the Y540 17 can last “up to 5 hours”.
