Lenovo ThinkPad T470 14″ Business Laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad T470 is one of the 14″ models in the ThinkPad T-series business notebook lineup. Among the T-series 14-inchers, including the “slim” T470s and “performance” T470p, the T470 is a mid-range model. It has optional touchscreen, but lacks ultra-high resolution display and discrete video card options. The screen resolution is either HD (TN) or Full HD (IPS). Inside the 3.5-pound (and up) body with 0.8″ slim profile, Lenovo has put the 7th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7 U-series Kaby Lake processors. There’s up to 16GB of RAM, and hard drive or solid state drive storage. DVD burner is missing. This corporate-centric notebook PC comes with a backlit spill-resistant keyboard, military-tested rugged chassis with magnesium hybrid or PPS display lid (depending on model) and glass-fiber reinforced plastic base, optional fingerprint and SmartCard readers, optional 4G LTE networking support, and optional Pro Windows 10 OS edition. As a stand-out laptop feature, Lenovo’s ThinkPad T470 has Power Bridge technology. This means it has a built-in sealed battery (24 WHr) plus a removable unit (24, 48, or 72 Whr). The latter can be removed and replaced without shutting down the laptop. Lenovo claims the battery life can be up to 18 hours.
