The T480, as same as its larger T580 15.6″ sibling, stands out with its dual battery system with one fixed battery sealed inside the chassis and one removable battery. With the highest capacity removable unit the T480 can achieve a battery life of “up to 30.3 hours”.

Backlight on the laptop’s ergonomic keyboard is optional, as same as fingerprint reader and Windows Hello face recognition log-in feature. The keyboard is accompanied by a multi-touch trackpad, and Lenovo’s recognizable TrackPoint pointing device.
