Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK 15.6″ Gaming Laptop with Intel Core i5-6300HQ, Nvidia 960M, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD
The Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK is an entry-level gaming laptop with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display, the mid-range Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5 dedicated video card, upper-mid-range 6th Generation Intel Core i5-5300HQ quad-core processor, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a 256GB solid state drive, and backlit keyboard.
With the current price of $800 and good specs, the Windows 10-based i7559-763BLK is a great buying choice. It doesn’t feature high-end gaming laptop components like the top-tier Nvidia 970M and 980M video cards, world’s fastest Intel Core i7 quad-core CPU, or premium chassis materials like aluminum. But, the plastic-topped 1″ thick 5.7-pound machine still offers sufficient performance for running the latest games or demanding media creation tasks. True, in some heavy games you’ll have to dial down graphics detail settings to get a smooth gaming experience. One could say the Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK is currently the most powerful laptop on the market for the given price. In addition to excellent computing performance, the laptop comes with a capacious 74 WHr battery. Dell claims the battery life can last more than 10 hours, but certainly it won’t last that long under heavy processor and graphics load and maximal screen brightness.
The rest of the specs list is admirable, too. The only common laptop feature that is missing is a DVD optical drive. The notebook includes stereo speakers coupled with a subwoofer, a 720p web camera, 802.11AC Wi-Fi, Gigabit LAN, and Bluetooth connections, HDMI video output, three USB 3.0 ports, a combo audio port, and a media card reader.

There are two RAM slots, so you can have up to 16GB using two 8GB modules. RAM is user-upgradeable.
