HP ProBook 450 G1 (Configurable)
The HP ProBook 450 G1 is a 15.6-inch laptop model for small business users. Unlike the more expensive HP 650 G1 for larger business environments, the 450 G1 doesn’t come with Intel vPro system management technology which is important to managing large groups of laptops. However, it provides some features specific to business laptops such as an optional fingerprint reader, anti-glare display, and spill resistant keyboard. The notebook is based on the 4th Generation Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 full-blown processors with non-low standard voltages and thus full performance. It ships with either a hard drive or solid state drive with up to 1-Terabyte and 128GB capacity, respectively, and up to 16GB of RAM memory. The display doesn’t provide 1920×1080 pixel choice like on the pricier HP 650, but as an advantage it does optionally come with touchscreen. The display is managed by either the Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics or an AMD Radeon HD discrete video card.
There’s also a built-in optical drive, stereo speakers, webcam, four USB ports, HDMI and VGA video outs, a media card reader, and connectivity features including Wi-Fi, Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth, and optionally LTE mobile broadband.
The HP 450 G1 has a silver colored aluminum keyboard deck. The LCD lid is covered with rubber-like soft-touch finish.
