The Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-53V6 is a mid-range 15.6-inch notebook PC with Windows 10 OS. Regularly priced at around $600, the A515-51G-53V6 offers very decent specs and features for the price.

The fairly light 4.4-pound notebook features sharp Full HD screen resolution, keyboard backlight, and aluminum base top cover, while the rest of the chassis is made of plastics. Inside, the laptop packs an excellent processor – the 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U, and a dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX150 2GB video card instead of only basic integrated graphics. Furthermore, the Aspire 5 A515-51G-53V6 comes with sufficient DDR4 RAM size for all regular tasks of the average user – 8 Gigabytes of it. Finally, for storing data locally the machine uses a 256GB solid state drive instead of old and slow hard drive technology. According to Acer, the battery life of the notebook is “up to 7 hours”.

On the negative side, IPS display technology for wide viewing angles is missing and that’s the main downside of this laptop model.
