Asus Transformer Book T100HA (T100HA-C4-GR) Small 2-in-1 PC

The Asus Transformer Book T100HA is a 2-in-1 laptop / tablet PC hybrid with a small detachable 10.1-inch display, Intel Atom processor with entry-level performance, and an affordable starting price of $299.

Currently, there’s only one model available, the “tin-gray” T100HA-C4-GR. It comes with the latest Atom x5-Z8300 quad-core CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of eMMC storage. The display resolution isn’t extremely sharp, since the panel has a mediocre 1280×800 pixel count. But, the multitouch screen has IPS technology which allows very wide viewing angles.

Besides Windows 10 operating system, a new feature of the latest Transformer Book T100 model is a USB Type-C connector with support for fast USB 3.1 data transfer standard. The device also includes a frontal 2MP and rear 5MP cameras, stereo speakers, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections, micro HDMI video output, micro USB, combo audio jack, a microSD media card slot, and a full-size USB 2.0 port located on the keyboard deck.

The tablet part alone is 0.3″ thick and weighs in at 1.3 pounds. Combined with the keyboard, the device measures 0.7″ in profile and has a weight of 2.3 lbs.

Asus claims the Transformer Book T100HA-C4-GR has a battery life of “up to 12 hours”.
