The 200-dollar Asus VivoBook X540SA-BPD0602V is yet another budget-class 15.6-inch laptop PC. As a good selling point in comparison to similar notebooks, the X540SA-BPD0602V includes an Intel Pentium processor which is faster than usual Celeron chips.

Besides the Intel Pentium N3700 CPU, the X540SA-BPD0602V model features 4GB of system memory, a 500GB hard disk drive, and a DVD burner as the main internal components. The N3700 combined with 4GB RAM is quite suitable for routine daily activities of the average PC user.

As expected, the display is a basic one. This plastic-cladded laptop in silver color sports 1366-by-768-pixel screen resolution. IPS technology for wide viewing angles is missing, as same as touchscreen functionality.
