The HP Pavilion 15-cw1068wm 15.6″ laptop is a mid-range notebook PC. It is included in Walmart’s Black Friday 2019 ad, with a relatively cheap price of $399.
For the money, the HP Pavilion 15-cw1068wm delivers very good specifications. The laptop’s 15.6-inch display features good Full HD picture sharpness and IPS technology that enables wide viewing angles.
Inside its “Horizon Blue” chassis, HP’s 15-cw1068wm incorporates components that enable very smooth user experience when it comes to the most common computer tasks. Thanks to the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U quad-core processor with the Radeon Vega 8 integrated graphics, the laptop can easily handle web browsing with many browser tabs opened, work on various types of office documents, multimedia consumption, and even some light gaming. It can also serve you well for some more advanced tasks like video production, although it is not a full-blown workstation-class processor.
The laptop has a decent system memory (RAM) size of 8GB, which enables seamless multi-tasking during “normal” laptop use. Furthermore, the notebook’s combination of a capacious 1-Terabyte hard drive and 128GB of fast solid state drive storage provides a plenty of storage space, as well as good speed for files and programs stored on the SSD portion.
The HP Pavilion 15-cw1068wm has a mid-range battery capacity of 41 WHr. HP estimates the laptop can provide a battery life of “up to 8 hours and 15 minutes” with mixed laptop usage.

How is the width 14.2″ and the screen is 15.6″? I’m looking to buy a hard case for this computer but I don’t have it here to measure myself and need an accurate measurement.

15.6 inches is length of the screen diagonal, which is always longer than notebook’s width. The width of the laptop is 14.2 inches.

The 15.6 is measured diagonally from top left to bottom right.
