Lenovo G51 80M80020US Cheap 15.6″ Laptop (AMD A8 CPU, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Black)
The Lenovo G51 80M80020US is an inexpensive traditional laptop PC. It features a 15.6-inch display with standard and basic HD 1366×768 resolution and mid-range-class core components: the AMD A8-7410 quad-core processor, as well as capacious 8GB of system memory and 1-Terabyte hard drive.
The 80M80020US also includes a DVD / CD writer drive, keyboard with numeric pad and ergonomically curved keys, trackpad with dedicated “mouse” buttons, stereo speakers, a low-resolution 0.3MP VGA web camera, two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port, Wi-Fi 802.11AC and Ethernet LAN networking support, HDMI and VGA video out connectors, an SD media card reader, and a combo audio jack.
The Lenovo G51 series sports a black plastic chassis with brushed metal finish on the palmrest. The machine weighs in at 5.1 pounds and is 1″ thick. These are quite average measures for a standard 15.6-inch notebook.
The battery life info for the 80M80020US is missing, but Lenovo claims the G51 series can generally last up to four hours on a battery charge.
The laptop is a part of Best Buy’s Cyber Monday sales from November 29 to December 5, 2015, and will be sold at a special price of $299. That’s a great deal considering the good CPU and large RAM and HDD.

i bot several of these! they’re great. even has a gigabit ethernet port which i fail to understand why this spec is missing from many computer specs. but it’s a deal breaker for me if any modern puter lacks this now-a-days. i have used it for both linux mint and windows. if u want your puter to be screaming fast, replacethe hard drive with a solid state drive. then it boots Windows 10 in less than 10 seconds! 😉

Laptop failed after trying to upgrade the ram and now I am stuck with the ‘black screen of death’. I tried to put the old ram in but it didn’t make any difference. It was the exact same listed on Crucial’s website as ‘compatible’ but I bought it on Amazon. I know they are ‘cheap’, but there’s no reason it should suffer bios issues just because you try to replace the ram. I know it is running and in an ok state because the power light and the battery lights that are in front of the keyboard are a solid white and you can hear it running.

any puter kan fail if you mess up with the ram. this is user error, friend. but i quite agree that ram shud be a LOT more user friendly! but it’s not the latop’s fault. compared to other laptops, this one is great for its price! loaded with nice features.

yes, any basic computer can ‘do’ these things. 😉 I have no clue what kind of game league of legends is. but minecraft, oh yeah, hands down, this puter kan handle it.
