Lenovo Yoga 700 14″ 2-in-1 Notebook
The Lenovo Yoga 700 14″ is a mid-range 2-in-1 laptop with a 14-inch display and hinge that allows the screen to fully flip over for converting the device to a tablet or presentation / multimedia stand or tent.
The Yoga 700 lacks ultra-sharp QHD+ resolution and luxurious chassis with wristband hinge of the flagship Yoga 900 series, but its still a premium 2-in-1 PC with a crispy Full HD IPS multi-touch display, backlit keyboard, and excellent processor choices. In addition, the Yoga 700 offers a dedicated video card option which is lacking on the 900 series and majority of other convertible laptops.
The 700 series comes with either the Intel Core i5-6200U or i7-6500U dual-core processor, both from the latest 6th Generation Skylake CPU family. The optional dedicated video card is the Nvidia GeForce GT 940M with 2GB of video memory. Although it’s a lower-end dedicated GPU, it’s still provides far smoother gaming experience than the default Intel HD 520 integrated graphics. The laptop ships with 8GB of system memory and 128GB or 256GB of solid state drive storage.
The notebook features stereo speakers, a 720p web camera, 802.11AC wireless and Bluetooth connections, two USB 3.0 ports, a multi-in-1 media card reader, a combo audio jack, and combo power jack / USB 2.0 port.
Lenovo claims the battery life lasts up to 7 hours on this model.
The plastic-cladded Lenovo Yoga 700 weighs in at 3.5 pounds and measures 0.7″ in profile. The casing comes in black, sliver, or orange color.
