HP Stream x360 11-p010nr / 11-p091nr Signature Edition Laptop / Tablet Hybrid
The HP Stream x360 11-p010nr / 11-p091nr Signature Edition is an affordable 2-in-1 hybrid PC with a 11.6″ touch display mounted on a 360-degree rotating hinge, so you can use the device as a standard laptop, tablet, or multimedia stand. With its form factor and shape, the Stream x360 11 is closer to the HP Pavilion x360 11 convertible than the Stream 11 clamshell non-touch laptop. However, the 11-p091nr Signature Edition packs the lowest-end PC components used in the Stream 11. For computing, they use the basic Intel Celeron N2840 dual-core processor paired with only 2GB of RAM and a smallish 32GB eMMC storage. On the positive side, all HP Stream-branded mobile PCs feature a fanless and therefore completely silent design and come with a free 1-year subscription for Microsoft Office 365 Personal.
Regarding the Signature Edition model branding of the 11-p091nr, it simply means the computer is free of third party bloatware programs present on the 11-p010nr, which slow down the system and can annoy users.
Other parts are in tune with the budget nature of the HP Stream x360 11-p010nr / 11-p091nr Signature Edition. The screen resolution is mediocre: 1366 by 768 pixels and IPS wide viewing angle technology is missing. The keyboard has no backlight, while networking and connectivity feature set is a standard one. The device has three USB ports, HDMI video output, a media card reader, combo audio jack, and Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN, and Bluetooth connections. The notebook has stereo speakers and a webcam, as well as a decently capacious 43.5 WHr battery (no info on battery life available yet).
The 3.2-pound convertible is made of blue plastics with gradient pattern on the keyboard deck. Overall, it’s a nice looking and flexible 2-in-1 hybrid laptop/tablet machine with enough power for basic computing tasks and a low-price tag.
