Dell Vostro 1710The Dell Vostro 1710 desktop replacement notebook is now available for purchase.

The newly designed 17-inch business-class laptop features an Intel Core 2 Duo or Celeron processor, up to 4GB of system memory, up to 640GB of storage using two 320GB hard drives, and a slot-load DVD burner or Combo optical drive. The Dell Vostro 1710 comes with the Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics or Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT 256MB GPU. Display options include 1440×900 anti-glare and 1920×1200 glossy screens.

Dell Vostro 1310Dell launched yesterday the Vostro 1310, the company’s first 13.3-inch notebook in their business-class lineup. The laptop starts at $749.

Along with a 13.3″ 1280×800 anti-glare or glossy display, the Dell Vostro 1310 includes Intel’s Celeron, or a 65nm/45nm Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of system memory, up to 320GB of hard drive storage, and a slot-load optical drive. Regarding graphics, the 1310 provides Intel GMA X3100 and Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS 128MB choices.

Dell Vostro 1510Dell has unveiled yesterday the Vostro 1510 15.4-inch affordable business-class notebook, featuring new chassis design, Intel’s Centrino processor technology, and a starting price of $599.

The Dell Vostro 1510 includes Intel Celeron or some of 65nm and 45nm Core 2 Duo CPU models, up to 4GB of main memory, up to 320GB of hard drive space, and a slot-load optical drive. Regarding graphics, the 1510 provides Intel GMA X3100 and Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS 256MB choices. This GPU manages the 15.4″ anti-glare or glossy display with a resolution of 1280-by-800 or 1440-by-900 pixels, depending on customer’s choice.

Dell Vostro 1310, 1510 Laptops Now Available in the U.S.

Dell’s newly designed Vostro 1310 and 1510 business laptops for budget-minded customers are now available in the United States.

The 1310 is the first 13.3-inch model in the Dell Vostro series. The ultraportable weighs 4.6 pounds and starts at $749, while the 1510 weighs 5.7 pounds and has a starting price of $599. The both notebooks come with up to Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of system memory, a slot-load optical drive, as well as with Windows XP or Windows Vista preinstalled.

Dell Laptops to Feature Qualcomm’s Gobi Mobile Broadband Solution

Dell LogoDell’s next-generation laptops, available later this year, will support a single-card EV-DO and HSPA 3G network connections through Qualcomm’s Gobi solution, the PC maker announced yesterday.

Dell explains that, using the Qualcomm Gobi, U.S.-based travelers who connect their laptops via EV-DO carrier networks (like Verizon Wireless or Sprint), will be also able to connect via HSPA carrier networks (like European Vodafone). Today customers who wish to connect to both types of networks must use two different mobile broadband cards.

Dell Vostro 1200The Dell Vostro 1200, a new ultraportable laptop for business users, has been released today in Japan.

This 12-inch notebook is based on the Intel’s “Santa Rosa” mobile platform and the GM965 chipset, and features a Celeron or a Core 2 Duo processor, depending on customers choice. The Dell Vostro 1200 uses the Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics and supports up to 4GB of system memory. It comes with up to 160GB 5,400rpm hard drive and has a built-in DVD burner or Combo drive.

The 1700 is built on the Intel “Santa Rosa” platform and features the Core 2 Duo processor, and a choice of GM965 chipset with integrated GMA X3100 graphics or PM965 paired with dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS 128MB video card. The Vostro 1700’s 17” widescreen display features 1440×900 or 1920×1200 resolution, depending on your choice.

The 15.4-inch Vostro 1500 is built on the latest mobile computer platform codenamed “Santa Rosa” by Intel. The system features the Core 2 Duo or Celeron processor, and a choice of GM965 chipset with integrated GMA X3100 graphics or PM965 paired with dedicated NVIDIA GeForce video card. There are the GeForce 8400M GS 128MB and the GeForce 8600M GT 256MB options. Dell Vostro 1000Dell has unveiled this week the notebook series called Vostro, aimed at business users. The first and only AMD-powered model in the new lineup is the affordable 15.4-inch Dell Vostro 1000, currently starting at $449 after instant savings.

Dell Vostro 1000 is based on AMD ATI RS485M chipset with the integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 (R485M) graphics, managing the 15.4″ widescreen display with 1280 x 800 resolution. The notebook, which is similar to Inspiron 1501 for consumers, is configurable with dual core AMD Turion 64 X2 and AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor, or with single core Sempron CPU. This system supports up to 2GB of main memory and comes with up to 120GB SATA hard drive at 5400rpm. Dell Vostro 1000 also includes a DVD burner or a Combo optical drive, depending on your choice.

Dell Vostro 1500Dell Vostro notebooks, aimed at business users, are now available for purchase. The new notebook line includes 14.1-inch Vostro 1400, 15.4-inch Vostro 1500 and Vostro 1000, as well as Vostro 1700 featuring 17-inch screen.

These laptops are built on Intel’s “Santa Rosa” notebook platform with the latest Core 2 Duo processors, except the Vostro 1000, based on AMD platform and dual core Turion or Athlon CPUs. Intel-powered Dell Vostro 1400, 1500 and 1700 provide a choice of integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 or dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT and GeForce 8400M GS, while the Vostro 1000 has ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 integrated video solution. These laptops support 802.11n draft wireless standard and come with DVD burners and SATA hard drives.
