HP 15-DA0073MS Laptop (15.6″ Touch, Intel i5-7200U CPU, 8GB RAM, 2TB HDD)
The HP 15-DA0073MS is a budget-class touchscreen laptop with decent performance and a plenty of storage space. It will be sold for only $349 during Microsoft Store’s Black Friday sales.
Although the notebook doesn’t include one of the latest 8th Generation Intel Core processors, its 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7200U dual-core chip is still excellent for the daily computing tasks of the average user. The Intel HD 620 graphics that is integrated in the i5 CPU is a very basic graphics solution. So, it is able to run only light PC games. As for 8GB RAM, that capacity ensures seamless multitasking. Besides touchscreen feature, the HP 15-DA0073MS stands out among similar laptops with its huge hard drive with a capacity of 2 Terabytes.
As for the display, it is an entry-level one. Yes, it is touch-enabled, but the screen resolution is basic HD with relatively low picture sharpness and IPS technology for wide viewing angles is missing. That’s, however, expected in this laptop category.
Since it is a budget laptop, the HP 15-DA0073MS features plastic casing and lacks keyboard backlight. On the positive side, it does include a built-in DVD drive.
According to HP, the laptop can provide a battery life of “up to 11.25 hours”. But, that was probably measured with a very light computing load, since the battery capacity of 41 WHr is only an average one.

Hi, I have found on Crucial that they offer NVME M.2 SSDs for the 15-DA0073MS. They are “100% compatible”, according to Crucial, which I trust because they are specialized in RAM / storage upgrades.

You can also find info that some other 15-DA00 models do have an M.2 NVME slot, so I would safely assume the 15-DA0073MS has one too.

Hi, this laptop has two RAM slots. You can use 2 x 8GB modules for a total of 16GB for sure and possibly (although I’m not sure) 2 x 16GB for a total of 32GB, since the i5-7200U supports up to 32GB RAM.
