Asus F555UA-EH71 Laptop (15.6-Inch, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Windows 10)
The Asus F555UA-EH71 is a mainstream laptop PC with a 15.6-inch display and good internal components. The F555UA-EH71 features the 6th Generation Intel Core i7-6500U dual-core processor, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, a DVD burner, and Windows 10 operating system.
The processor choice and RAM size ensure flawless use of common programs like web browsers, Office applications, media players, and similar and additionally enables quite decent speed when it comes to more demanding tasks like photography or video editing. Gaming-wise, the i7-6500U with its Intel HD 520 integrated graphics are not a good solution, but you’ll be still able to play many light games and some demanding games on low detail settings. The 1-Terabyte hard disk offers a plenty of storage space, but it’s a low slow storage device.
The display doesn’t impress with its specs. The panel features the common 1366×768 resolution and no IPS for wide viewing angles. In this department, the similar F555LA offers more value for less money, since it sports a sharper Full HD 1920×1080 screen with more pixels for running programs side-by-side.
The Asus F555UA-EH71 has a standard keyboard with numeric pad but no backlight, touchpad with integrated “mouse” buttons, stereo speakers, a low-resolution 0.3MP VGA webcam, 802.11AC Wi-Fi wireless, Ethernet LAN, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, HDMI and VGA connectors for additional displays, a combo microphone / headphones port, multi-format media card reader, and Bluetooth.
The battery has a capacity of 37 WHr, which isn’t too great. One can assume the battery lasts around 4-5 hours on a charge with light tasks and reduced screen brightness involved.
The plastic-cladded notebook features a silver palmrest and black screen lid, both with metallic-like finish. The machine is 1.1″ thick and weighs in at 5.1 pounds, which are typical measures for a 15.6-incher.

The F555UA-EH71 supports all the programs you mentioned. But, it features the old 6th Gen Core i7. The newer 8th Gen i7-8550U (and i5-8250U) are noticeably better and they would be a better choice, especially for heavier programs like Adobe CS Premiere, Aftereffects, or Photoshop. The F555UA-EH71 may struggle with Premiere and other heavier apps. “autocad, matlab, pdf annotator, microsoft office with miscrosoft proj, google android studio, eclipse miscosoft ,visio and rational architect” are not too demanding.
Another thing worth consideration is the hard drive, which is much slower than newer solid state drive storage. So, I would recommend a laptop with an SSD. That would make user experience much smoother.
As for RAM, 16GB instead of 8GB would be a welcomed upgrade (primarily because of Adobe CS suite – Premiere, Photoshop, etc).
Also, the laptop has a TN display, with much narrower viewing angles than IPS-based screens. That’s again important for Premiere, Photoshop, and similar apps.
Finally, getting a laptop with a dedicated video card such as one of the Nvidia GeForce series can help in Adobe CS programs and other apps supporting graphics acceleration.

I have had it for less than a year and have recurring problems. My troubleshooter can’t figure out why my sound doesn’t work and there’s no devices to be plaid through (internal speakers are perfectly fine, I didn’t tamper with them or blow them). It has problems with constantly dropping my wifi signal when friends with other computers next to me have uninterrupted connections. I also am displeased with the quality of the computer’s plastic. It looks great in pictures, but the plastic feels very cheap and frail. This computer looks great on paper and in pictures, but I am and have been extremely disappointed in it and would not recommend it to anybody.

Definitely a good choice considering performance / price ratio. But, if you do some design / 3D modeling / architecture work, the display might be a bit limited due to low resolution and lack of IPS for better viewing angles and color accuracy.
