The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 7569 / i7569, 7579 / i7579 is a convertible 2-in-1 laptop with a full-size 15.6-inch display, excellent performance, and all the necessary laptop features in a premium-class package.

There are two actual SKUs – the 7569 and 7579 (the i7569 and i7579 are simply SKUs for identical laptops sold in retail stores as opposed to those sold directly by Dell). Otherwise identical laptops, the 7569 / i7569 is based on the 6th Generation Intel Core processors, whereas the 7579 / i7579 is powered by the latest 7th Generation with slightly improved performance.

The centerpiece of the Dell Inspiron 7569 / i7569 / 7579 / i7579 is the 15.6″ multi-touch screen with sharp Full HD 1920×1080-pixel resolution and IPS technology for ultimately wide viewing angles. It’s mounted on a pair of hinges that allow the display to bend back a full 360 degrees. It enables you to use the device in presentation, tent or tablet modes, besides the standard laptop mode.

The laptop sports brushed aluminum finish on the display lid and keyboard deck, while the bottom is made of black plastics. This model is quite portable for a full-size notebook. It weighs in at 4.8 pounds and is 0.8″ thick.

Processor options include the 6th Gen Intel Core i5-6200U (review) and i7-6500U, as well as their 7th Gen conterparts – the i5-7200U and i7-7500U. The i5 and i7 the typical mainstream notebook dual-core chips with the i7 offering a bit better performance for those who regularly throw demanding audio / video / photo production tasks on their systems. The 6th Gen CPUs feature the Intel HD 520 integrated graphics (review), while the 7th Gen chips incorporate the almost identical HD 620. The HD 520 and 620 aren’t gaming GPUs but still are capable of running many famous game titles like Counter Strike or League of Legends. You won’t be having any problems with running many browser tabs or apps simultaneously, since the 7569 / 7579 series is equipped with at least 8GB of RAM. Another option is 12GB. As a side note, the laptop uses DDR4-type 2,133MHz RAM for a tiny performance improvement over the previous-gen DDR3. For internal data storage, it boasts a snappy solid state drive with either 256GB or 512GB capacity.

The list of attractive features doesn’t end here. The Dell Inspiron 7569 / i7569 / 7579 / i7579 has a backlit keyboard and a new USB-C type port. The rest of the specs sheet is pretty much a standard one. Included are stereo speakers, a web camera, full-size USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, 802.11AC wireless network interface, HDMI display connector, an SD media card reader, combo audio in / out port, and Bluetooth.

The included battery has a capacity of 42 WHr, which is among medium-sized batteries in this notebook category. The machine is claimed to last “up to 8.25 hours” on a single battery charge, but you should take this estimation with a grain of salt. That result is probably achieved with very little computing activity and lowered display brightness.

can i increase the ram capacity for this laptop for 7569 model from 8 GB to 16 GB is it possible?

    • Jim

Yes, as I have researched and have the same P.C.

  3. manoj

i want to change the graphic card is it possible to change

    • Danijel Z

No, it isn’t. Graphics processors in most laptops aren’t changeable, including the Dell 7569.

  4. Lexi

Is there a stylus pen compatible with this model ?

    • Danijel Z

It doesn’t support active digitizer pen input (with pressure sensitivity and other features available on laptops / tablets like Microsoft Surface). But you can use capacitive pens, which are basically a piece of plastics, instead of your fingers.

    • kristina roser

It actual does support the dell active pen. It did not come with one but it does support it.

  5. Sara

I want to buy dell inspiron 2 in 1 512 hard drive and 12 speed and intel i7 I need to know the pros and cons if anyone know please

    • Danijel Z

If the 512 hard drive is actually a 512GB solid state drive (I assume since HDDs are usually 500 or 1000 GB and SSDs 128, 256, or 512 GB), then the 2-in-1 has excellent performance. SSDs provide a great speed advantage over the HDDs. The i7 is among the fastest 2-in-1 / laptop processors. I assume “12 speed” is 12 GB of RAM. That’s also an excellent point in the specifications, since laptops usually have 8GB.

It was a good 2 in 1 laptop, maybe the Lenovo 710 15 has better design, screen and speaker, but this one has more reliable. Lenovo 710 has loud fan noise and running constantly, but Dell 7000’s cooling system barely run during your day use works.
