The Acer Aspire V3-574T-534M Signature Edition Laptop is a fully-featured 15.6-inch laptop, but still not a premium-class model. The notebook has touchscreen display, the excellent 5th Gen Intel Core i5-5200U (review) dual-core processor, and keyboard backlight, but in other aspects it’s just another budget-class system. The screen resolution is the standard 1366×768 instead of Full HD 1920×1080, IPS technology for wide viewing angles is missing, and system memory and hard drive capacities of 6GB and 500GB aren’t insanely large. Also, graphics processing relies on the integrated Intel HD 5500 (review) graphics, meaning enough potential only for light gaming.

Acer Aspire V3-574T-534M Signature Edition Laptop 2Acer’s Aspire V3-574T-534M Signature Edition incorporates a satisfactory and quite common selection of other features. The laptop has stereo speakers, a webcam, 802.11AC wireless, wired Ethernet LAN network interface, Bluetooth, HDMI and VGA video output ports, one USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, an SD media card reader, and a microphone / headphones 2-in-1 audio port.

Acer estimates this model can run up to five hours on a single battery charge.

Externally, the V3-574T-534M sports a silver-colored palm rest and black display lid with a textured finish. The system is 0.9″ thick and weighs in at 4.7 pounds, meaning it is quite portable for a 15.6-inch notebook with a built-in DVD drive and touchscreen.

The Signature Edition mark on this laptop means its Windows 10 Home installation is free of bloatware programs, which can cause system slowdowns and slow boot-up times.

Is this laptop best to buy at this price….Is this enough for IDE like eclipse to run without any slow performance…

Also could you please advise whether it is apt to go with acer .?or DELL is the best?

I’m not a software expert, but I think this model will run Eclipse decently smooth, although getting a pricier laptop with a quad-core Intel i7 CPU will additionally speed up things in cases when you run intensive Java scripts. I would consider a Dell model with easily upgradeable RAM / HDD (like Dell 5558 series) as a good option if you have in mind a similarly priced model wit similar specs. Then, you have an option to insert a SDD instead of the HDD and significantly boost performance.
