HP Stream 13 (13-c110nr / 13-c120nr) 13.3″ Laptop (Intel Celeron, 2GB / 32GB, Office 365, Cobalt Blue / Violet Purple)
The HP Stream 13 13-c110nr and 13-c120nr are very affordable Windows 10-based 13.3-inch laptops with an Intel Celeron processor, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB eMMC-based SSD storage, and Microsoft Office 365 Personal for one year free of charge.
The HP Stream 13-c110nr and 13-c120nr have the same hardware specs and different casing colors as the only difference. The former is “Cobalt Blue”, while the latter is “Violet Purple”. Both blue and purple models have a gradient paint on the keyboard deck and plain display lid, combined with a white keyboard.
The Stream 13 has the standard budget-class 1366-by-768-pixel display, with no IPS wide viewing angles nor touch-screen capability. The display and computing are managed by the Intel Celeron N3050 (review) dual-core processor with Intel HD integrated graphics. This is a basic chip, so don’t expect it to do anything more than the basic web surfing, document editing, media playback, or lowest-end gaming. 2GB of RAM, instead of at least 4GB you can find in majority of notebooks today, is quite limiting when it comes to multitasking. Therefore, you won’t be able to run many programs at the same time without experiencing slowdowns. 32GB of eMMC storage has much smaller capacity than the common 500GB hard drives. But, you can at least you can expand storage by inserting an SD card and also use 1-Terabyte of OneDrive cloud storage, which comes free of charge with the included Office 365 package.
This modestly equipped notebook has a pair of stereo speakers, a 720p camera, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, HDMI video out connector, 802.11n Wi-Fi wireless, Bluetooth, an SD card reader, and a 2-in-1 audio port.
The battery capacity is 37 WHr, but we have no info on battery life.
The HP Stream 13-c110nr / 13-c120nr weighs in at 3.4 pounds and is 0.8″ thick. If you want a more portable version of the same laptop, you can check out the 2.6-pound Stream 11 with a smaller 11.6″ display as the main difference.
